The Blondy Bluesman Jonny Winter was an American blues guitarist, singer and producer. He was born on February 23, 1944, in Beaumont, Texas and began playing the guitar at a young age. Winter’s music was heavily influenced by blues legends such as Muddy Waters and B.B. King. He gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his electrifying performances and unique sound. Winter released numerous albums throughout his career and collaborated with many other musicians. He passed away on July 16, 2014, in Zurich, Switzerland.
