I initially knew Bart Wiseman from the “Music on the Mountain” videos featuring Jimmy Fleming. We had recently begun discussing the possibility of including Jimmy’s performance of “Just My Imagination,” which can be viewed on our Dystonia awareness page. Tragically, Bart passed away from a heart attack last weekend while he was actively engaged in a fundraiser for another local musician who had also passed away. He was also a dedicated supporter of the Jackson County Roots Concert. This live video with the Honey Robbers was broadcast shortly before his passing. We are also featuring a separate video below showcasing Bart’s last band.

As a Tribute Today I am sharing Ross Wiseman Performing Amazing Grace and a second Video from another channel on YouTube Total Media and Jimmy and Bart on the Music on the Mountian Show.

This is a Tribute to Bart from the Total Media Youtube Channel we hope to add our own full tribute here later. This video shows Bart performing classics like “House of the Rising Sun”, “Harvest Moon” and “Hello” by Lionel Richie and tells us why His Favorite song of all time is because of its sad background “American Pie By Don Mcclaean”. The Chat with the host shows the true down-to-earth and funny guy Bart was and how easy he was to chat with.

Bart and The Honey Robbers

Bart and The Honey Robbers deliver a lively blues performance in what appears to be a bar or restaurant with a street view. While the video is titled “Bart and the Honey Robbers~44 Blues” and features this performance, there is no mention of a special guest named Doug Blewitt in the video. The band consists of a guitarist and vocalist who notably wears a mask, along with a bassist and a drummer, delivering an energetic performance with a strong emphasis on the guitar work, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

The compilation features precious clips of Bart performing, allowing viewers to experience his passion firsthand. It also includes excerpts from an interview where Bart thoughtfully discussed his musical influences and shared personal stories, alongside a segment from his appearance on the “Morning Show”. This collection serves as a touching reminder of Bart’s impact and the musical legacy he leaves behind.

Bart Wiseman the music on the mountain series with Jimmy Fleming

In this “Music on the Mountain” series video, musicians Bart Wiseman and Jimmy Fleming share a conversation reflecting on their musical journeys. They reminisce about their early encounters in the music scene, discuss their influences and the development of their guitar and vocal styles after starting on other instruments, and touch upon the realities of a musician’s life, including financial aspects and the importance of continuous learning. The video includes two original song performances by Bart Wiseman and mentions the possibility of Jimmy Fleming appearing on the show.

  1. This tribute to my son Bart Wiseman was so beautiful. I cannot thank you enough!! There was only one Bart….there will never be another one. Words cannot describe how much I loved him and how much I miss him.

  2. Fitting and beautiful. It’s so great to see such an outpouring of love and respect. Bart was giving of those very things himself. Thank you.

  3. Bart was not only so very gifted and inspiring in the decades we were friends and shared the stages, He was The example of what a Human should be. He and I shared the Philosophy of life that when you knew to do good for others, we did. We did the same for each other. It’s gonna be difficult to not have him on the other end of the phone talking about what is right and wrong in the human experience. The Man was as Spectacular a Musician as he was a Man.
